Sifu has trained under many instructors. 
He presently trains under Sifu Sam Carter in Powell Method Kajukenbo under the direction of Professor Mitch Powell. 
He has trained under Master Steve Wolk in the art of Doce Pares Eskrima since 1996.  Recently, Guro Steve and GM Dong Cuesta surprised his belt promotion to 4th degree black belt in Doce Pares (Eskrima).
He also trains under Sifu Sam Carter in Emerpado Kajukenbo (Bautista Method) and GrandMaster Ron Carlson's Chinese Kenpo Karate.

He achieved his 2nd degree black belt in Hawaiian Kenpo under Sensei Chuck Cordova and Sensei Dave Hemmingway thru the authority of Cecil Peoples Kenpo.   
He trained for a year and a half with the late GrandMaster Robert Rapue (Advanced Methods In Defense System).
